RO GESIS is pleased to invite applications for one-month research visits at its research lab in Cologne. Individual researchers who want to conduct research and work with data available at GESIS may apply for a grant to access our data at GESIS. The research stay can be planned for a period of one month starting from January up to December 2022.
Successful applicants will receive a travel grant that covers travel costs (economy class, up to 500€ for short-haul flights and up to 900€ for long-haul ones) plus an allowance of 2,000€ to cover accommodation and other costs.
During their stay, visiting researchers will benefit from a wide range of services including an individual workspace and access to research data and the GESIS library services with various online databases. You will also have the possibility to discuss and interact with our GESIS experts and benefit from participating in our research seminars.
Interested candidates have to apply by using our online application form and upload their CV and a research proposal of up to two pages. An international selection panel will evaluate all applications on a competitive basis, considering scientific merits and the quality and originality of the project proposal.
Deadline for applications is October 15th, 2021.
